Pastry Assistant

Rosetta currently has an opening for Full Time Pastry Assistant to Join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of pastries, desserts, doughs, fillings, and glazes
• Follow standardized recipes and instructions from the Pastry Chef
• Measure, mix, and prep ingredients accurately
• Maintain proper storage and labeling of ingredients and finished products
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and tools
• Help with decorating and finishing pastries to brand standards
• Assist with the plating and packaging of products for display or sale
• Monitor product quality and report any inconsistencies or issues
• Adhere to food safety regulations and company policies
• Support with inventory checks and restocking supplies as needed
• Participate in daily prep, cleaning, and closing duties

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen, or culinary school (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of baking and pastry techniques
• Ability to follow directions, work neatly, and maintain a clean work area
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional kitchen environment
• Food Handler’s Certificate (or ability to obtain
