The role

You’ll have high standards for what makes a great pastry and cabinet offering. Our neighbourhood location means we’re busy first thing in the morning to late afternoon. You’ll have the opportunity for personal development and to work alongside some of the best in the business.

This is a full time position requiring weekend work, and eligibility to work in New Zealand.

As a Pastry Chef, you will:

Prepare and present our pastry offerings

Early morning starts

Assist in daily prep

Have a strong input into the production of our pastries and development of new seasonal products.

Maintain compliance standards

How can I tell if this role is for me?

Minimum 1 year experience in a pastry chef or baker position

Experience with viennoiserie or dough mixing is preferred. Training can be provided to the right candidate

Have experience working in a fast pace & high volume environment

Great teamwork and a willingness to learn and improve skills

Experience making and decorating cakes, cookies, scones and sweet cabinet food offerings to a high standard

Able to maintain high standards of quality

Able to lift 25kg
