About the role

As our Pastry Chef – Confectionery Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, producing, and perfecting a range of premium confectionery and patisserie items. You will work closely with our production and creative teams to maintain consistency, quality, and efficiency across all products.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high-quality confectionery, pastries, and nougat to brand specifications
• Develop new recipes, flavours, and seasonal product lines
• Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
• Manage production schedules to meet deadlines
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering ingredients
• Collaborate with the team to improve processes and maintain product excellence

About you

• Qualified Pastry Chef or Confectioner (Cert III/IV or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience in pastry, confectionery, or fine desserts
• Strong understanding of sugar work, chocolate tempering, and artisanal techniques
• Creative, detail-focused, and committed to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
