About the role

We are seeking an experience and dedicated Pastry Chef to join our team on a full-time fixed-term basis for our busy season. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic patisserie environment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has professional pastry chef experience, ideally with high-level / modern patisserie and desserts

• Has strong technical pastry skills and excellent attention to detail

• Can work efficiently and confidently in a fast-paced environment

• Is reliable, punctual and takes responsibility for their work

• Maintains consistency, presentation and quality even during busy periods

• Works well as part of a team and communicates professionally

• Understands food safety, hygiene and kitchen organisation

• Is available to work full time throughout our busy season

Experience with mousse-based desserts, entremets, glazing, chocolate work and modern pastry techniques would be an advance.

Important

Working evenings, weekends and Public Holidays are a must for this position.

This position is for an immediate start.

Applicants must already have the legal right to work in New Zealand for the duration of the fixed-term position.
