Experienced Pastry Chef – New VenturePacific Paradise, Sunshine Coast

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef to join an exciting new venture in Pacific Paradise on the Sunshine Coast.

This is an opportunity for someone who genuinely loves their craft and wants to be part of building something from the ground up.

We’re looking for a skilled pastry professional with strong experience in croissants, sourdough, laminated pastries, artisan breads and quality pastry production. You’ll take pride in producing exceptional products while helping us develop a distinctive offering for our new business.

The Role

You’ll play an important role in establishing our pastry and bakery offering, including:

• Producing high-quality croissants and laminated pastries
• Working confidently with sourdough and naturally fermented products
• Developing and maintaining consistent recipes and production standards
• Creating new and exciting pastry and bakery products
• Managing daily pastry production and preparation
• Maintaining excellent food quality, presentation and consistency
• Helping establish efficient systems and production processes
• Working closely with the owners/team to develop the business and its product range

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has solid professional pastry/bakery experience
• Has proven experience making croissants and laminated dough
• Is confident working with sourdough and artisan bread
• Has excellent attention to detail and consistency
• Takes genuine pride in their work and product
• Is organised, reliable and able to work independently
• Has a creative mindset and enjoys developing new products
• Wants to be part of a new venture rather than simply another job

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
