About the role

The Pastry Staff is responsible for preparing, baking, decorating, and presenting pastries, desserts, and other baked products according to established recipes and quality standards. The role ensures consistent product quality, proper food handling, and a clean and organized workstation while supporting the kitchen team in maintaining efficient daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and produce pastries, desserts, cakes, and other baked goods according to standard recipes.
• Measure, mix, bake, decorate, and finish pastry products accurately and consistently.
• Prepare ingredients and ensure proper mise en place before production.
• Maintain consistent quality, taste, texture, appearance, and portion sizes.
• Monitor ingredients and minimize food waste.
• Ensure products are prepared according to production schedules.
• Follow food safety and company standards.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team and perform other duties as assigned.

About you

• High school graduate; culinary or pastry training is an advantage.
• Previous baking or pastry experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic baking and pastry techniques.
• Familiar with food safety and sanitation practices.
• Good attention to detail and presentation.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Reliable, organized, and willing to learn.
• Willing to work on weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules.
