About The Role Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is seeking a motivated Pastry Commis de Partie - Pastry. In this role, you will assist in the preparation of pastries, cakes, desserts, ice creams, and other sweet creations, ensuring the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

What You Will Do

• Prepare high-quality pastries, desserts, and sweet creations in line with recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
• Set up and maintain pastry stations, ensuring readiness for service and appropriate mise en place.
• Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor stock levels, food rotation, labeling, and storage to ensure quality and compliance with food safety standards.
• Minimize food waste and support effective cost-control practices.
• Assist with preparation for subsequent shifts, as well as the setup and cleanliness of pastry and kitchen areas.
• Support other kitchen sections when required.

What You Bring

• Previous culinary experience or experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of kitchen equipment operation, maintenance, and cleaning procedures.
• Proficient knife skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Fluency in Italian, both written and spoken. English proficiency is considered an advantage

Schedule & Hours This is a full-time, fixed-term position requiring flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

The position is at the D1 level of the Tourism Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL), with a starting gross annual salary aligned with the contract’s minimum standards and opportunities for growth based on experience.
