Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and desserts, ensuring high standards of taste and presentation
• Decorate cakes and pastries with precision, creativity, and attention to detail to meet customer specifications and presentation standards
• Follow food safety protocols and handle ingredients responsibly to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling baked items efficiently
• Package baked goods carefully for display or takeout orders while maintaining product quality and appearance
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely production of all pastry items during service hours
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation adhering to food handling regulations and sanitation standards

Experience

• Proven experience working in a restaurant or bakery environment with a focus on pastry or dessert preparation
• Skilled in cake decorating techniques and food presentation methods
• Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling, and kitchen sanitation procedures
• Hands-on experience with baking, food preparation, and packaging of baked goods
• Strong customer service skills to understand guest preferences and deliver exceptional service
• Previous kitchen experience within the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is valued
