What they need
This is a great opportunity for high schoolers to gain work experience in a lively, creative environment while learning about the bakery
We are looking for:
High school junior or senior enrolled in a culinary arts program
Energetic, positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Able to follow instructions and stay organized in a busy kitchen
Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Able to work approximately 20 hours per week
Previous experience in a food environment is a plus
Responsibilities:
Assist pastry specialists with preparing, assembling, and decorating desserts
Help with daily kitchen tasks such as weighing ingredients, cleaning, and organizing workstations
Learn and follow proper food safety and sanitation standards
Schedule:
Weekdays, 5PM – 9PM (after school)
Saturday & Sunday: flexible daytime shifts
Average 20 hours per week
