Pastry Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a professional, motivated, and hardworking Pastry Kitchen Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate should be fast, organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and develop their pastry skills. The candidate will assist the pastry team with daily preparation and production while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, cakes, creams, fillings, and other bakery items.
• Follow recipes, preparation methods, and portion standards accurately.
• Work quickly and efficiently during busy production hours.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation at all times.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Properly store, label, and handle ingredients and finished products.
• Assist with inventory checks and inform the supervisor when ingredients or supplies are running low.
• Support the pastry chef and other kitchen team members as required.
• Minimize food waste and use ingredients responsibly.
• Maintain consistent quality and presentation of all products.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a pastry, bakery, dessert, or professional kitchen is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of pastry preparation and kitchen equipment.
• Fast learner with a strong willingness to improve and develop new skills.
• Able to work quickly while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Good hygiene and professional appearance.
• Reliable, punctual, disciplined, and responsible.
• Able to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Flexible and willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform normal kitchen duties.

Pay: QAR1,500.00 - QAR2,000.00 per month
