Pathologist

Conveniently located at Checkpoint Mall, Brgy. Paciano, Calamba City, Laguna, our clinic is dedicated to delivering professional healthcare with compassion, accuracy, and patient-centered care for the community.

QUALIFICATIONS;

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Must be a licensed physician with a valid license to practice medicine.
• Completed residency training in Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Preferably a Board-certified or board-eligible in Pathology.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic procedures, laboratory testing, and related pathology services.
• Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with physicians, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Willingness to comply with applicable healthcare, laboratory, safety, and quality-assurance standards.
• Willing to work in Brgy. Paciano, Calamba City, Laguna

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and interpret biopsy, surgical, cytology, blood, and other clinical specimens.
• Provide accurate and timely pathology reports and diagnoses.
• Perform or oversee laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Assist physicians in establishing or confirming patient diagnoses.
• Review and correlate laboratory findings with clinical information when necessary.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and provide professional consultation to attending physicians.
• Ensure accuracy, reliability, and quality of pathology and laboratory results.
• Supervise and collaborate with medical technologists, laboratory personnel, and other healthcare staff.
• Participate in quality-control and quality-assurance programs.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient and laboratory records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable medical, laboratory, infection-control, and safety standards.
• Participate in continuing professional education, research, and training activities as applicable.
• Perform other duties related to pathology services as assigned.
