Job Summary

The role involves collecting accurate patient information, verifying insurance details, coordinating appointments, and providing professional customer service in a busy healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify demographic information.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
• Collect required patient and insurance information.
• Assist patients with registration and account questions.
• Maintain accurate records and protect confidential information.
• Communicate with clinical and administrative departments.
• Provide courteous and professional service to patients and visitors.
• Follow HIPAA requirements and organizational policies.
• Support efficient patient flow and accurate documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous healthcare, registration, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
