Patient Access Representative

We are seeking an experienced Patient Access Representative for a 13-week day-shift contract in San Luis Obispo, CA. This assignment is ideal for a Patient Access Representative with strong customer service skills, EPIC experience, excellent communication abilities, and experience handling a high volume of phone calls. Radiology scheduling experience is a plus, and training may be available for the right candidate.

• Training: Willing to train if needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the patient admission and discharge process
• Collect and verify patient information and financial data
• Collect the patient's financial responsibility
• Provide clerical support and perform routine administrative tasks
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient questions
• Maintain patient files and information up to date
• Schedule and coordinate appointments with patients
• Confirm patient appointments and provide appropriate instructions

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Experience:

• Patient Access Representative: 1 year (Required)
• Epic: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• High School Education/GED or equivalent (Preferred)
