Patient Appointment Coordinator - TEMP

Excellent opportunity to work temporarily for a well-established orthopedic surgeons office with a great team of employees. The primary responsibilities include answering incoming phone calls, scheduling patient appointments for 5 providers, checking insurance eligibility and obtaining authorizations.

Applicant must have at least 1 year of recent medical office experience, including scheduling, customer service, referrals / authorizations and insurance verification. The individual must possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable and familiar with EMR system scheduling. Must be able to multi-task and work in an environment that often has distractions.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
