Patient Attendant

Job Purpose

To provide warm and attentive assistance to patients and visitors from arrival, ensuring a welcoming, comfortable and seamless experience throughout their journey in the hospital.

Job Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients and visitors upon arrival, providing directions and guidance to clinics, wards and other hospital facilities.
• Provide wheelchair assistance and accompany patients to their designated locations while ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Assist with patient and visitor enquiries and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure their needs are attended to promptly.
• Support patient arrival and departure activities, including assisting with belongings, transportation arrangements and general concierge services when required.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming environment at patient-facing areas while working closely with Customer Service, Nursing and other departments to deliver a positive patient experience.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in customer service, hospitality, concierge, healthcare or other service-related roles will be an added advantage.
• Friendly, courteous and service-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-groomed, proactive and comfortable engaging with patients, visitors and people from diverse backgrounds.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
