Patient Care Associate - Part Time Day Shift

Role Overview The Patient Care Associate (PCA) provides compassionate support to residents by assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining a safe environment, and promoting a high quality of life. They work as part of a team to create a home-like setting, respecting patients' dignity and choices. Key responsibilities include recognizing patient needs, communicating changes in condition, adhering to safe handling practices, assisting with personal care, documenting care details, and reporting incidents or abuse. They also perform clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs, participating in care planning, and following infection control protocols. The PCA engages in ongoing training, maintains confidentiality, and supports life enrichment activities.

Qualifications include current PCA certification (or enrollment in nursing school), strong English and computer skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
