Patient Care Coordinator

Responsibilities:

-Schedule patients for appointments

-Obtain Letter of Protection (LOP) from attorney's
-Send out medical records and bills to the attorney and provider

• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
• Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
• Assist doctors in clinic
• Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed

-Collect and process LOP from attorneys, updates to the providers

• Ensure a clean and organized reception area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an office or healthcare setting preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail, and organizational abilities
• Proficient in using computer systems and microsoft, excel, adobe software
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of cpt, icd 10 terminology and procedures is a plus

-Willing to learn Case Compass amongst other task in the facility.
