Job Description

Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support nurses and clinical teams in providing safe, compassionate care to patients. The role assists with daily patient-care activities, monitors patient needs, maintains a clean and safe environment, and communicates important observations to the nursing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities, mobility, and personal care.
• Measure and document vital signs and patient information.
• Support nurses with routine patient-care activities.
• Observe patients and report changes or concerns to the clinical team.
• Assist with repositioning, transfers, and safe ambulation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment.
• Answer patient requests and provide courteous assistance.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and patient privacy procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous healthcare or patient-care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to perform physical duties associated with patient care.
