Patient Coordinator

Location: Norfolk, VA | Full-Time Konikoff Family Dentistry – Granby in Norfolk, VA is looking for a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Patient Coordinator to join our team full-time!

As one of the first faces our patients see, our Patient Coordinator plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience from the moment a patient walks through the door. We’re looking for someone who is professional, dependable, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a busy dental office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients with a friendly, professional attitude
• Manage patient check-in and check-out
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions
• Verify and update patient information
• Assist with insurance verification and benefit information
• Collect payments and discuss patient balances as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance
• Communicate effectively with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and other team members
• Help keep the daily schedule organized and running smoothly
• Provide an exceptional patient experience from start to finish

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Previous dental or medical front office experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Friendly, professional, and patient-focused
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Organized with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
• Experience with dental practice management software is a plus
