Patient Coordinator

Specific Responsibilities

• Tracking of doctor advice for all patients in OPD.
• Follow up calls to patients advised for admission for conversion.
• Conversion from OPD to diagnostics.
• Daily & Weekly data sharing with Manager-FO on conversion and cases in pipeline.
• Confirmation Call to patient for appointment status
• OPD feedback Collection & Patient satisfaction improvement
• Managing queue in OPD for consultation
• Financial Counselling to patients for planned cases
• Assist patients in admission process
• Assist in IPD rounds with the consultant
• Coordinate with Consultant & MT for discharge summary preparation.
• Informing consultant about the cross referrals from IPD
• Appointments & meeting management of consultant
• Ensuring Doctors Availability in OPD
• Facilitating discharge process for the patient
• Coordination with patients in getting their Pac/OT clearance done before surgery
• Coordination with pharmacy in case of consignment items
• Coordination with OT and Bed Manager for blocking OT slot and bed for planned surgeries.
• Coordination with call centre for blocking the OPDs
• Coordination with front office about doctor non availability
