Patient Coordinator – Front Desk

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Weekends

Center for Urologic Care of Berks County (CUC) is looking for full-time Patient Coordinators to join our Front Desk team!

Our Patient Coordinators are often the first face our patients see and the first impression they have of our practice.This is an important role for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, thrives in a busy environment, and understands that even the smallest interaction can make a difference in a patient's experience.

We're looking for someone who can bring together great customer service, attention to detail, teamwork, and a positive attitude while helping our patients navigate their care.

What You'll Do

As a Patient Coordinator, you'll play an important role in keeping our office and patient schedules running smoothly. Responsibilities include:

Warmly greeting and assisting patients throughout their visit

Checking patients in and out accurately and efficiently

Verifying demographic, insurance, and other required patient information

Scheduling appointments and assisting patients with their next steps in care

Collecting applicable copays and patient payments

Answering phones and assisting with patient questions

Communicating clearly with patients regarding appointments, forms, and practice processes

Maintaining accurate information within the electronic medical record

Working closely with providers, clinical staff, and other Patient Coordinators to support efficient patient flow

Helping identify and resolve issues before they become barriers to a great patient experience

Protecting patient confidentiality and following HIPAA and practice requirements

Previous medical office or healthcare experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who brings strong customer-service skills, reliability, and a desire to learn.
