Patient Coordinator

Davenport Pediatric Dentistry is a brand new pediatric dental practice that opened earlier this year and we are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Patient Coordinator to join our growing team! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an environment where your ideas and energy will help shape the patient experience and the culture of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

· Welcome patients and families with warmth, professionalism and genuine care

· Present treatment plans to parents with clarity and confidence, reviewing financial options including in-office membership plans and third-party financing

· Verify and check dental insurance benefits and eligibility

· Submit claims, post payments and follow up on outstanding claims and pre-treatment estimates

· Effectively schedule patients to support productivity and patient flow

· Manage incoming phone calls with courtesy and efficiency

· Follow up on unscheduled treatment and overdue recare

· Assist with social media and ground marketing initiatives, including participation in community events

· Support the clinical team when needed-seating patients, turning over operatories and helping with sterilization

Qualifications

· Minimum of 2 years of prior dental office experience required all team members will receive training

· Strong knowledge of dental insurance and confidence in discussing financial arrangements

· Fluent in Spanish a plus but not required.

· Experience with Open Dental software is a plus, however training will be provided

· Excellent communication and customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor

· Detail-oriented, organized and adaptable to new systems and processes

· Team player who thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
