Patient Coordinator/Receptionist

Seim Chiropractic is looking to hire a new patient coordinator/receptionist for our chiropractic office located in Lake Saint Louis, MO. Must be able to work the hours of M/W- 8-12 & 2-6, Th- 2-6 and Fri- 8-12. Starting pay of $16-$18 per hour with first opportunity for a raise after a 90 day probationary period. Preference for someone desiring long-term employment. Favorable experience appreciated but not required, will provide all necessary training. Interpersonal, customer service and communication skills are the most important attributes. Must be a dependable person. Please email resume to the email on file. Responsibilities:
· Manages the front office in a friendly and professional manner
· Greeting patients/visitors
· Answering phones and scheduling patients
· Assists the doctor in other duties to help manage patient care and flow in the office
· Conducts marketing/promoting various internal systems
· Maintains patient and insurance billing systems
· Maintains supply inventory

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
· Strong communication skills. A well-qualified candidate will be able to interact with patients in a courteous manner, and will have the ability to treat all patients of the office with dignity and respect.
· Organization and time management skills: The ability to multi-task while maintaining calm behavior.
· Software/Computer skills: Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Candidate will demonstrate the ability to learn how to interface with Chirotouch Integrated Chiropractic Software in order to maintain patient records and accurately bill patients and insurance.
· Learning ability: Demonstrates ability to learn quickly and has an eagerness to take on new tasks.
· Initiative/Motivation: Candidate will have a demonstrated history of taking initiative and being productive without being prompted.
· Other requirements: Valid driver’s license, means of transportation to run errands in the community, ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Dependability is a must!
· Educationand Experience: High School Diploma required. Experience with patient/client accounts preferred. Customer service experience preferred. Favorable personal chiropractic experience a plus.
