Job Overview

We are seeking a Part Time dedicated and compassionate Patient Representative to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of medical terminology and administrative processes within a medical office setting.

Duties

• Greet patients upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records accurately.
• Answer patient inquiries regarding services, procedures, and insurance coverage.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
• Process patient forms and documentation efficiently.
• Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry, and managing correspondence.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a medical office is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the team and with patients.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff.
• Proficiency in office software applications for scheduling and documentation purposes.
