Patient Safety Coordinator

Role Overview: Coordinates patient safety programs, analyzes patient-related errors, and conducts Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) to identify underlying issues.

Key Responsibilities: Performs risk assessments based on ECRI recommendations, suggests practice changes, policies, or programs to mitigate risks, and promotes a culture of safety. Participates in organizational development and delivers patient safety and risk reduction training.

Qualifications & Skills: Requires an Associate's degree in Nursing, current RN license (Georgia or multi-state), and at least 2 years of nursing or adverse event monitoring experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication, and group facilitation skills are essential. Preferred candidates have a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years of related experience, process improvement knowledge, and certifications such as CPHQ or CPPS.
