Patient Sitter - Nursing Float

Overview

• Department: Nursing Float
• Schedule: Days, 7:00am - 7:30pm, 3-12-hour shifts
• Facility: Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center

Responsibilities Maintains responsibility to sit with and observe the patient and his/her surrounding environment to promote safety and prevent possible injuries. The One to One Patient Observer assists the Registered Nurse in non-nursing tasks within the scope of training and experience.

Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $15.00 to $20.19. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
