Patrolling Security Officer

Job Summary

The Patrolling Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the assigned premises through regular patrols, monitoring, access control, and timely reporting of security incidents. The officer must remain alert, professional, and follow all company and client security procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned areas.
• Monitor the premises for suspicious activity, safety hazards, unauthorized access, or security violations.
• Check entrances, exits, gates, parking areas, restricted areas, and other designated locations.
• Control and monitor access to the premises in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and security concerns.
• Report suspicious persons, activities, damage, theft, accidents, or other incidents to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and daily security records.
• Monitor CCTV and other security systems where assigned.
• Ensure that all security equipment and access points are properly secured.
• Assist visitors, employees, and clients when required while maintaining security procedures.
• Follow emergency, fire-safety, evacuation, and incident-response procedures.
• Maintain professional conduct, discipline, appearance, and communication at all times.
• Perform any other security-related duties assigned by the Security Supervisor or authorized management.

Requirements

• Previous security or patrolling experience is preferred.
• Valid security-related certification/licence as required for the assigned duty and applicable UAE regulations.
• Good observation and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to remain alert during duty.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Good discipline, reliability, and professional attitude.
• Ability to prepare basic written reports and maintain security records.
