ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

This position will play a critical role in creating and modifying patterns using Gerber Accumark based on Kontoor tech packs including blocks, design sketches, size specifications, construction and workmanship descriptions. The role also involves grading patterns in full size range, preparing yards consumption, and approving the fit & finish patterns.

Also, the role will be responsible for translating the buyer comments into clear patterns instructions, maintaining organized libraries and working closely with cross-functional teams with combination of multiple 2D,3D or AI tools, to ensure patterns are feasible for bulk manufacturing and meet target cost.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

You will be critical in delivering these activities but not limited to:

Pattern Creation & Modification

• Create the patten through Gerber Accumark, , according to Kontoor tech pack including basic block, design sketches, size spec, construction and workmanship descriptions.

• Modify the pattern in next round sample after getting the comment from clients, update master files and revision logs.

• Grade the pattern in full size ranges base on request and tech pack full size set spec.

• Prepare the YY/fabric consumption base on the request and SDC working instruction.

Pattern Approval

• Approve the fit & finish sample pattern after deep reviewing the tech pack information and specified requirements to make sure the quality accuracy.

• Approve the bulk production JSS/ jump size set pattern in a combined consideration of bulk delivery schedule, tech pack and sample pattern.

版型审批

• 在深入审查技术包信息和特定要求后，批准合身与成品样衣版型，确保质量准确。

• 综合考虑大货交付进度、技术包和样衣版型，批准大货生产 JSS（跳码）版型。

Develop Pattern Team Capability

• Catch up with the marketing trend about the new technology development regularly and upgrading on the apparel pattern field.

• Study the better solution of crossing technology & processing, looking to improve the working efficiency & accuracy of pattern work in different stages from development initiation to bulk production.

• Explore the new opportunity to management at the right time of any new technology benefits to company development.

• Support to review & optimize the pattern SOP, continuously to drive for working environment in standardized, efficient, collaborated conditions.

• Provide catching up or training to pattern or other associates in regarding the new technology trends and intern applications in crossing technical tools.

• 定期跟进市场趋势与新技术发展，在服装版型领域持续升级。

• 研究跨技术与工艺的更优解决方案，提升从开发启动到大货生产各阶段版型工作的效率与准确性。

• 探索新技术带来的机会，适时向管理层提出有利于公司发展的建议。

• 支持审查与优化版型标准操作流程（SOP），持续推动工作环境向标准化、高效、协作方向发展。

• 为版型或其他相关人员提供新技术趋势及跨技术工具内部应用的培训。

Technical Communication

• Translate buyer comments into clear instructions for conducting good pattern work performance.

• Maintain organized digital and physical pattern libraries ensuring filing control is always accurate.

技术沟通

• 维护有序的数字与实体版型库，确保归档控制始终准确。

Cross-functional Coordination

• Work closely with global, sourcing and Production teams to ensure patterns are feasible for bulk manufacturing and meet target costs.

• Provide yards consumption for costing purposes.

Continuous Improvement

• Suggest methods to reduce waste, improve fit consistency and shorten pattern lead-times.

• Looking for further opportunities to utilize the new technology in a combination of 2D, 3D and AI tools, drive the pattern work into better skill set & efficient way.

• Proficiency in pattern design software, Gerber will be prioritized.

• Good experience of garment construction, grading rules, and marker-making.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Good written and spoken English (to read tech-packs and email comments).

• Team players with strong time-management ability to meet critical deadlines.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

• College or above in Fashion Design, Apparel Technology, Textile Engineering or a related field.

大专及以上学历，服装设计、服装技术、纺织工程或相关专业。

-Subject Expert In: At least 5 years’ experience in technical design, pattern-making role or apparel digital field.

至少 5 年技术设计、版型制作或服装数字化领域经验。
