PATTERN MAKER (2D)

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Fashion Design, Garment Technology, or related field (preferred)
• At least 2–5 years of experience as a Pattern Maker in garment manufacturing
• Proficient in Gerber (pattern making, grading, and marker making)
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and sizing
• Experience in bulk production environment is preferred
• Knowledge of different fabric behaviors and their impact on pattern making
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop and digitize garment patterns using Gerber or equivalent CAD system
• Interpret tech packs, sketches, and design specifications into production-ready patterns
• Conduct pattern adjustments based on fit samples, comments, and production requirements
• Collaborate with the Design, Sampling, and Production teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility
• Ensure proper pattern grading according to size specifications and standards
• Optimize marker efficiency to minimize fabric wastage
• Review and approve patterns prior to bulk cutting
• Maintain organized digital pattern files and documentation
• Troubleshoot pattern-related issues during sampling and production stages
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and company procedures
