Job Overview

This is a part-time remote role for a Pavement Engineer at German Advanced Technologies. The role involves overseeing and providing technical input for the construction of road and surface infrastructure globally. Responsibilities include project management, data & manual compilation, calculation and documentation review, conducting site visits, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Duties

• Project Management & Technical Assistance
• Data & Technical Manual compilation
• Calculation, Estimation & Documentation Review
• Potential Site Visits
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between business development efforts, engineering efforts and company goals
• Collaborating with stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with regulations, norms and standards

Experience

• Highest expertise in Civil Engineering principles and road construction techniques, with a pure focus on soil stabilization
• Understanding of Geotechnical Engineering principles, especially pertaining to additive interaction with different soil types and cement
• Strong understanding of permits, certification processes, regulatory requirements and codes related to road construction and soil stabilization
• Minimum experience of 10 years in road construction and/or soil stabilization
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
• High proactivity, self-starter mindset, problem-solving skills and strong work ethic
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
