Job Title: Payer Denial Medical Coder

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Payer Denial Medical Coder to review medical claims denials, identify coding-related issues, analyze denial reasons, and support claim resolution to improve reimbursement and reduce denial rates.

Key Responsibilities

• Review payer-denied medical claims and identify the root cause of denials.
• Analyze denial reasons related to ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, and medical necessity.
• Review medical records and verify coding accuracy and documentation completeness.
• Identify coding errors, authorization issues, and payer-specific denial trends.
• Support claim corrections, resubmissions, and appeals as applicable.
• Follow payer guidelines, coding standards, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain productivity, accuracy, and turnaround-time targets.
• Coordinate with billing, coding, and denial management teams to resolve claim issues.

Candidate Requirements

• Work Location: Chennai.
• Joining Preference: Immediate joiners or candidates serving a notice period of up to 15 days.
• Relevant medical coding experience with demonstrated payer denial handling skills.
• Certification and practical coding knowledge are essential.
