Main responsibilities

1. Manage the payment process and ensure all supporting accounting documents are properly reviewed, filed, and maintained in compliance with Head Office requirements and local regulations.
2. Receive and process daily payment requests; review and verify supporting documents to ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
3. Prepare and execute bank transfers through SCB, ensuring all payments are processed accurately and on time; submit payment requests for Head Office approval and coordinate with the bank to complete payment transactions.
4. Review and maintain vendor master data, including the control and verification of new vendor codes in SCB.
5. Monitor cash flow and prepare weekly and monthly cash forecast and cash position reports.
6. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and obtain bank balance confirmations at fiscal year-end for audit purposes.
7. Record accounting entries, including general ledger transactions, accruals, provisions, and prepayments; monitor and reconcile related accounts at month-end.
8. Maintain and archive payment documents in accordance with company policies and document retention requirements.
9. Provide required financial documents and information to internal and external auditors in a timely manner.
10. Liaise with bank representatives and submit supporting documents to banks as required.
11. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Job requirements

Educational Qualification: College, University

Experience in years: 2 years experiences in Finance or Accounting

Related Industry Experience: Manufacturing background is preferred

Language: Conversational English
