Job Description

Baxter is seeking a Payment Posting Specialist to support accurate and timely payment processing. The role focuses on posting payments, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies to help maintain accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Post insurance, patient, and other payments accurately to patient accounts.
• Review payment information and ensure transactions are applied to the correct accounts.
• Reconcile payments and identify posting discrepancies.
• Research and resolve payment posting errors and unidentified payments.
• Work with billing, accounts receivable, and other departments to resolve account issues.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Follow established payment posting procedures and meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in payment posting, medical billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with billing systems and Microsoft Office is helpful.
