  • Conduct quality assurance checks on payment transactions before final approval and release.
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, exceptions, duplicate payments, and data inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Procurement, Finance, and other business stakeholders to resolve payment-related issues.
  • Communicate directly with vendors regarding payment verification requirements and outstanding documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor master data records within financial systems.
  • Identify and escalate potential fraud risks, suspicious transactions, or control deficiencies.
  • Support audit requests by providing required documentation and evidence of payment verification activities.
  • Monitor and track payment verification metrics and service levels, providing regular reporting when required.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, financial controls, compliance requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and risk management within payment operations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and vendor information at all times.

Job Qualifications Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Payment Operations, Financial Administration, Vendor Management, or a related finance function.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar enterprise financial systems.
