Payments Analyst

About the role

Manage the onboarding of new Merchants in a formal, regulated environment, working with third party providers and liaising directly with the Merchant as required. Orchestrate the implementation of Medeor services, once the Merchant has been onboarded, working with partner software companies, terminal partners and Merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the onboarding of new Merchants in a formal, regulated environment, working with third party providers and liaising directly with the Merchant as required
• Orchestrate the implementation of Medeor services, once the Merchant has been onboarded, working with partner software companies, terminal partners and Merchants
• Monitor payment transaction processing, managing any exceptions as required (under the oversight of Manager, Payment Operations), in order to monitor and mitigate risk
• Maintain the Merchant Management process and database in accordance with Medeor policies, ensuring it is always accurate
• Liaise with L1 Customer Care teams in partner software companies
• Manage robust payment operations – ensuring that all batch processing is under effective operational control
• Facilitate resolution of problems with payments partners, and improve processes as a result to drive continuous improvement
• Work closely with Compliance Manager to manage day-to-day flow of payments, and manage and mitigate risk
• Oversee the production and delivery of Customer Reports and Extracts
• Maintain good working relationships with participants of the payments supply chain vendors
