Payroll Accountant

Perform accurate, complete, and timely computation and administration of compensation and benefits for financial advisors, unit managers, agency managers and other distribution partners for the duration of the project.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensure accurate, correct, and timely computation of compensation and benefits for financial advisors, leaders, general agencies, and other distribution partners as per the approved compensation and benefits program for the duration of the project assignment.
• Process and review the commission, allowances, and incentives of financial advisors, leaders, general agencies, and other distribution partners throughout the project's timeline.
• Conduct regular reviews of manual adjustments to ensure the accuracy of compensation and benefits computations during the temporary project role.
• Report and monitor exceptions, production issues, etc., related to compensation and benefits, ensuring resolution within an acceptable turnaround time for the project duration.
• Identify qualifiers, roll out enrollment, and validate premiums in accordance with the existing agency benefits program for the temporary project assignment.
• Actively participate in project-specific initiatives involving new or changes to agency compensation, benefits, payouts, products, etc., within the project's timeframe.
• Provide business requirements and data to the project team within the agreed timelines for the project's duration.
• Perform necessary testing of scenarios or cases to ensure the proposed project implementations are effective and efficient during the temporary assignment.
• Regularly review project documentation to ensure completeness and correctness, including but not limited to user change request forms, user stories, test plans, test matrices, issue logs, etc., for the duration of the project.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THE ROLE

• BS Accountancy graduate or any related course.
• At least 4-5 years of experience in accounting or audit work.
• Must be willing to work in Alabang (Hybrid setup)
