Relevant Experience: 5+ Years in US Payroll Accounting / Multi-State USA Payroll

Work Mode: Work from Office

Shift: 6:00 PM 3:00 AM IST (USA Shift)

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle US multi-state payroll accounting and support month-end close activities.
• Prepare and review Journal Entries (JEs) and perform detailed GL account reconciliations.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis and investigate discrepancies across GL accounts.
• Manage payroll accounting for complex pay types including Equity, Supplemental Wages, Relocation, and Mobility.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, payroll accounting principles, and public company audit requirements.
• Partner with Finance, Payroll, and other business stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and operational optimization within payroll accounting.
• Coordinate with third-party payroll service providers and review their deliverables.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls related to payroll and financial reporting.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and information.
• Handle multiple payroll accounting projects and ad hoc assignments while meeting deadlines.
• Review the work of team members and outsourced service providers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
