The Opportunity

A leading and rapidly growing engineering business is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join its Finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional with 2+ years’ experience to join a busy, international environment, with exposure to payroll across Ireland, the UK and Europe .

The Role

You will support the accurate and timely delivery of fortnightly and monthly payroll, working closely with Finance, HR and operational teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting payroll processing across Ireland, the UK and Europe
• Managing high-volume timesheet and attendance data
• Checking payroll information and resolving discrepancies
• Processing new starters and leavers
• Managing annual leave and employee benefits
• Responding to employee payroll queries
• Supporting Revenue submissions and statutory requirements
• Completing payroll reconciliations and monthly reports
• Maintaining accurate payroll records and documentation
• Supporting biometric and time management system administration

About You

• 2+ years’ experience in payroll administration
• Experience using payroll software
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience working in a busy, high-volume environment
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Knowledge of statutory payroll requirements and employment legislation
• Previous European or multi-jurisdictional payroll experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided
