Responsibilities

• Process multi-frequency union and non-union payrolls accurately and on schedule in a large, multistate environment.
• Audit and reconcile HR, payroll, integration, and banking data; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, company policies, and SOX requirements.
• Process employee garnishments, respond to payroll inquiries, and prepare ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders.
• Partner with HR and IT on payroll processes, system upgrades, tax updates, testing, and special projects.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of payroll experience in a large, multistate organization.
• Experience with SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or another major HCM system is preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll accounting, wage and hour laws, multistate taxation, tax regulations, and SOX compliance.
• Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills; able to prioritize competing demands and work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
