Payroll & HR Assistant

Description:

We are seeking a Payroll & HR Assistant to provide temporary support during a leave of absence. This on-site contract role will assist with payroll processing, employee record maintenance, and general HR administration in a fast-paced, growing organization. The ideal candidate will have prior payroll and HR experience and be comfortable handling a variety of administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with payroll processing and payroll-related administration.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Support onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Assist employees with payroll and HR-related questions.
• Ensure data accuracy within HRIS and payroll systems.
• Support compliance, reporting, and other HR administrative functions.
• Partner with the HR team on special projects and day-to-day operations as needed.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of payroll experience required.
• Prior HR, HR Assistant, or HR Coordinator experience preferred.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems; Paylocity experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
