Payroll Assistant Manager

Join a growing MNC company with an expanding manufacturing presence in Johor. You will play a key role in managing end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring payroll accuracy, statutory compliance, and supporting a growing workforce in a stable international environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely salary processing for employees.
• Process payroll transactions including new hires, resignations, salary adjustments, overtime, allowances, bonuses, commissions, and statutory deductions.
• Ensure payroll compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRD Corp, and other employment regulations.
• Review and validate payroll inputs such as attendance records, leave data, claims, and timesheets to maintain payroll accuracy.
• Prepare monthly payroll reports, reconciliation reports, and management summaries while supporting payroll audits and statutory submissions.
• Handle payroll-related enquiries from employees and management, working closely with HR, Finance, and external authorities to resolve issues.
• Drive payroll process improvements, system enhancements, and support annual payroll activities including EA Form preparation, tax reporting, and year-end payroll closing.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience. Hands-on experience managing end-to-end payroll operations for large organisations.
• Proficient in iFlex Payroll System with practical payroll processing experience.
