Payroll Assistants

We have some fixed term Payroll Assistant opportunities in our head office team based in Te Puke!

Reporting to the Payroll & Systems Manager, these are busy and varied roles where you will be assisting to process a high-volume weekly payroll, ensuring staff are paid correctly and on time.

You will need to be confident picking up new systems, have an eye for detail and strong accuracy.

Ideally, you will have previous payroll experience, knowledge of the Holidays Act and relevant payroll legislation - however full training will be provided. If you have strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, we'd love to hear from you!

We’re looking for people who can bring:

• Great communication skills with helpful approach when dealing with a wide range of employee queries.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to work under pressure and work to deadlines.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

 The term for these roles is approximately 6 - 9 months.
