Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Associate to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and tax regulations. You will manage payroll data entry, reconcile payroll accounts, and support benefits administration, contributing to the seamless operation of our payroll systems. Your expertise in various payroll and accounting software will help us maintain confidentiality and precision in handling sensitive employee information. Responsibilities

• Process payroll using systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, or UltiPro, ensuring timely and accurate payments for all employees
• Maintain and update employee records within HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and payroll platforms
• Reconcile payroll accounts regularly, including general ledger entries and account balances, to ensure accuracy
• Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies related to payroll processing
• Manage payroll tax filings, benefits administration, and related reporting requirements
• Support data entry tasks related to time & attendance systems like Kronos or Time & Attendance systems to track employee hours accurately
• Collaborate with accounting teams on journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis involving payroll data

Requirements

• Proven experience with payroll management systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, Kronos, or UltiPro
• Strong knowledge of employment law, labor law compliance, and payroll tax regulations
• Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel), accounting software, and financial concepts relevant to payroll processing
• Experience with HRIS platforms and benefits administration tools
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analysis skills for account reconciliation and data verification
• Basic understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, debits & credits, and general ledger reconciliation
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
