Payroll Clerk - Temporary

Reporting to the Supervisor, the Payroll Clerk provides administrative support to the payroll team to help ensure employee records are accurate, up to date, and properly maintained.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update employee records in payroll and time management systems;

• Process new hires, terminations, and employee administrative changes;

• Perform various administrative tasks related to payroll and employee benefits;

• Verify the accuracy of entered information and complete required follow-ups;

• File, scan, and manage payroll-related documentation;

• Respond to routine employee inquiries and follow up with managers as required;

• Provide administrative support to the payroll team to help ensure efficiency and compliance with deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail, discretion, and accuracy;

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines;

• Comfortable working with computer systems and data entry;

• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset;

• 1 to 2 years of payroll experience is considered an asset.
