Its businesses include Laminex Australia, Iplex, Fletcher Insulation, Oliveri, and Stramit.

We're seeking an experienced Payroll Compliance Analyst to join a busy and collaborative payroll team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager and Payroll Systems & Compliance Lead, you'll play a key role in delivering payroll compliance and remediation projects across multiple business units. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a project-focused environment, solving complex payroll issues, and driving compliance outcomes.

What you'll be doing

• Leading and supporting payroll compliance and remediation projects.
• Assisting with internal and external audit activities.
• Conducting payroll analysis, validation and compliance reviews.
• Documenting payroll processes and procedures.
• Interpreting and applying Awards, EBAs and payroll legislation.
• Supporting ongoing compliance initiatives and BAU payroll activities as required.
• Partnering with Finance, HR and key stakeholders to drive compliance outcomes and process improvements.

About you

• Extensive payroll experience within complex, multi-entity or multi-site environments, including a minimum of one year's Australian payroll compliance experience in a dedicated compliance-focused role.
• Strong understanding of Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
• Proven ability to interpret complex Awards and EBAs and apply findings appropriately.
• Demonstrated experience working on payroll remediation and compliance projects.
• Experience using payroll and workforce management systems such as Chris21, Dimensions, and Workday is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis
• Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and quickly add value in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
