Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Payroll Consultant role based in Tbilisi. The Payroll Consultant will manage end-to-end payroll processing, including data collection, calculation of wages, taxes, and deductions, and preparation of payroll reports. The role involves ensuring compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations, maintaining accurate payroll records, and supporting audits when required. The Payroll Consultant will respond to employee inquiries about compensation, benefits, and payroll discrepancies, and collaborate closely with HR, finance, and management to support workforce planning and budgeting. The position also includes continuous improvement of payroll processes, contributing to system enhancements, and supporting the implementation of new payroll policies and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong payroll processing and administration skills, including wage calculation, deductions, and benefits handling.
• Knowledge of local labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to payroll in Tbilisi and Georgia.
• Proficiency with payroll systems and HRIS tools, as well as solid MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in financial data management, and ability to maintain confidential information.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for resolving employee queries and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify discrepancies and improve payroll processes.
• Previous experience in payroll, HR, or finance, preferably in a large or multinational organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, HR, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Tbilisi, manage deadlines, and adapt to evolving systems and procedures.
• Fluency in English and local language, both written and spoken, is an advantage.
