A leading construction company is seeking a Payroll Consultant for a 2-month project focused on documenting year-end payroll procedures and supporting the organization’s W-2 preparation process. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who understands year-end payroll requirements and has experience creating clear, detailed SOPs and process documentation.

What You’ll Do

• Document year-end payroll procedures, with a specific focus on W-2 preparation and year-end processing
• Create and/or enhance detailed SOPs and process documentation for payroll year-end activities
• Review existing payroll processes and translate them into clear, repeatable procedures
• Document key steps, processes, controls, and timelines related to year-end payroll
• Partner with payroll and HR stakeholders to gather information and ensure documentation accurately reflects current processes
• Help ensure year-end payroll procedures are clearly documented for ongoing use by the payroll team

Must-Have Experience

• Strong payroll and W-2 year-end processing knowledge
• Proven experience creating SOPs and payroll process documentation
• Experience working with large employee populations , ideally 10,000+ employees
• Familiarity with the construction industry and its payroll environment
• Hands-on experience with ADP
• Experience with Oracle EBS
• Ability to quickly understand existing processes and turn them into clear, organized documentation
