Payroll Consultant

Payroll Functional Consultant - German Speaker

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Functional Consultant to support a payroll transformation programme. You will work closely with Payroll, HR, Finance, IT and implementation partners to translate business needs into practical solutions, supporting delivery from requirements gathering through go-live and stabilisation.

Your responsibilities:

• Gather business requirements, document current processes and carry out process mapping and fit-gap analysis.
• Support solution design, ensuring payroll processes and configurations meet operational and control requirements.
• Support data migration, validation, reconciliations and integrations across HR, Time & Attendance, benefits, Finance and banking.
• Develop test scenarios and support integration testing, UAT, payroll parallel runs and defect resolution.
• Coordinate risks, issues, dependencies and deliverables across internal teams and external partners.
• Support cutover, go-live, hypercare and knowledge transfer to payroll operations.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience as a Payroll Functional Consultant, Payroll Business Analyst, Payroll SME or in a similar transformation role.
• Strong practical knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes, integrations, controls and reconciliations.
• Experience supporting payroll implementations, system migrations, transformation programmes or vendor transitions.
• Skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, fit-gap analysis and testing.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Experience with SAP Payroll, ADP GlobalView, Workday-to-payroll integrations or comparable enterprise payroll platforms would be an advantage.

Deep expertise in individual-country payroll legislation is not required.
