Role Description The Payroll Executive role at ePayslip is a contract position based in Bengaluru, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows a mix of on-site and work-from-home days. In this role, the individual will handle day-to-day payroll processing activities, including validating input data, calculating salaries, statutory contributions, and deductions, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll runs. The Payroll Executive will maintain payroll records, support issue resolution for employees and clients, and collaborate with finance and HR teams to align payroll outputs with accounting and compliance requirements. Responsibilities also include preparing payroll reports, assisting with audits, following internal controls and data security standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of payroll workflows within the SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Payroll Administration and Payroll Processing, including experience with end-to-end payroll cycles.
• Candidates should possess solid Payroll Management skills, with an ability to manage timelines, handle multiple entities, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of Finance, including basic accounting principles related to payroll, reconciliations, and statutory payments.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with internal teams, clients, and employees, and to clearly explain payroll-related information.
• Relevant experience with SaaS or cloud-based payroll systems is beneficial, along with familiarity with Asian payroll regulations and statutory contributions.
• A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, HR, or a related field is preferred, and prior experience in a payroll or shared service environment is an advantage.
• Attention to detail, data accuracy, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly are essential.
• Comfort with Excel and payroll-related software, plus the ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment, will be highly valued.
