Payroll Executive (Junior/Senior)

Responsibilities

1. Lead Time to Payroll activities, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing.
2. Manage all payroll components including deductions, tax withholdings (e.g., PCB/EPF/SOCSO), and statutory requirements.
3. Maintain accurate employee data in the payroll system and resolve payroll inquiries and discrepancies for employees.
4. Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports, reconciliations, GL journal files, and tax filings accurately and on time.
5. Oversee monthly, year-end, and supplemental payroll runs, monitor and resolve payroll errors.
6. Drive continuous improvement, implement quality controls, identify process improvements, and set standards for new processes.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of payroll experience.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian payroll and statutory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems.
• Previous experience in the logistics industry is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and time management.
• Able to work independently and meet strict payroll deadlines.
